Task:

Whilst we were editing our music video we were tasked with producing a digipak for our group. My group and I undertook some research into album artwork for the electronic genre. We created a mood-board with several exemplars of albums with aspects of the artwork that is conventional to the electronic genre. We are also seeking to emulate some of these albums in ways such as the use of colours.

Evaluation:

The mood-board certainly did assist us in creating our digipak. The mood-board us provided a good basis of ideas and potential images to work with. The mood-board was also useful in helping the group to become more familiar with some of the conventions of a digipak for the electronic genre. Some key conventions of a digipak of the electronic genre would be bright neon colours, computer generated images and fonts with a very digital appearance.
