Going forward from this task I have discovered that the camera movement and cutting speed of the music video plays an essential part to the interpretation the audience has of the music video

For example – cross-cutting is traditionally used to build suspense

This task will help me in future work as I now know that I have to look more deeper into the music video and look at all the different aspects of it which are:

• Theme / subject matter
• Look of the video/star
• Sound of the music
• If the music video is illustrative, amplified or disjunctive
• Think about the relationship between the narrative and the star
• Camera movement
• Cutting speed
• How the video is designed to look visually appealing

All of these different aspects will help me when coming to creating my own music video
