Relating to the media world.

Media ecology is full of components that enable the media world to function. Coming up to making some of my own media, I need to consider these areas. I need to control my media environment.

I have learnt that distributors need money, creators, audiences,  social media and institutions for affluent media, these interconnected components are vital in the media world and I have now learnt it is  essential to keep audiences perception’s individual to each component.

Whilst making my media diet collage I was tasked with recollecting the media I tend to consume. Whilst completing this task, I learnt that everyone is a media consumer and prosumer. I also learnt that media can has a variety of different outlets such as; online news articles, radio stations newspapers, television, books, magazines and so on. Getting a grip on my own media consumption will help me produce media because I could use parts of other media sources in my own work to help me. knowing that entertainment, education, social interaction, personal identity are each different reasons why people like media , I therefore know when it comes to my rap magazine that I will have to include all of these factors to make successful and relatable media.
