Airplane Narrative Music Video Sequence:

Airplane Narrative Music Video Sequence:

This is a music video I created on Adobe Premiere Pro. It’s a video, made up of small clips, on how to make a paper airplane. We learnt how to clip videos, unlink the audio to videos, and add transitions and effects to videos. My group made a storyboard to help us know what scenes we needed to shoot. However, I changed the order around- to fit the narrative better.

Reflection:

This task has helped me understand how to use Adobe Premier Pro. I’ve learnt how to create a video (of small clips) that convey a narrative. I also learnt how to film a series of videos, on a tripod, that work together to make the story. I now understand that you need to take many different angles and zooms in videos for it to be effective. This will help me for when I make my music video. Since I’ve learnt how to do basic editing in the app, I will be be able to expand my knowledge when it comes to editing my music video. The biggest thing I’ve learnt, is that you cannot fix bad videos (shoots). No matter how much you edit something, it has to be good raw videos to start with. The way to get successful videos is too capture still clips with good lighting (that fit in with the mise-en-scene). If you don’t use a tripod, the videos are most likely to look bad.
