Your Submission
The Film Portfolio is a submission for all HL & SL students and comprises of:
- A film reel (9 minutes maximum: 3 minutes maximum per film production role, including one completed film).
- Portfolio Pages (9 pages maximum: 3 pages maximum per film production role)
- A list of all sources used, must submitted as the final (separate) page.
Film Production Roles
You will submit work in three of the five following roles:
- Cinematographer
- Director
- Editor
- Screenwriter
- Sound Designer
We will be conducted a range of small scale production tasks* in each of these roles throughout the next term and a half. You will all make a short horror film in the first half of the summer term and will then have half a term leading up to the summer holidays to supplement and complete a full draft of your film portfolio on:
Friday 9th July 2021
*Each video submitted as a mini task must be a minimum of 30 second longs

Below is an template for a mini production task. You will be sent a copy via Google Classroom and must submit it back in the same way, you should also submit your final reel, which you will edit and export in WeVideo
Next Steps
In the next post will be a creative intention, which you must copy and paste into your own copy of the Portfolio Pages. We will then do some initial inquiry on basic framing and complete the inquiry section of the page, before moving into the action phase, which includes planning and shooting some clips of video
