We have messaged the artist to make sure it is okay for us to use their song for educational purposes only and too make sure that we do not get copyrighted for using their song without permission.

From our research about our artists’ audience, we will use the information to reach out target audience and illustrate our narrative to make it appropriate. This will be important in order to satisfy our audience and make the music video successful.  However, it cannot just be the narrative that appeals to the audience, the performance must also appeal to the audience to make them want to continue on watching the music video.

The reason why we chose this song is because if it is done well, the video could be really good.  We also chose it because during summer it will be easy to record our activities.  We chose it because we liked the idea of getting footage from our summer and all the fun memories.

As a group we came together to find out what our strengths and weaknesses are and what our roles and responsibilities will be in the filming and editing part of the music video, we also discussed who we will need to lip sync and the times that we are available.
